Puddington – Full Renovation

Description of the work carried out:

This was the renovation of a 17th Century cottage that had deteriorated over the years, therefore the property needed to be structurally secured before restoration could commence.

To enable us to internally vault all ceilings and install Velux windows on the first floor, we removed the existing roof and fitted a breathable roof system with a Welsh slate tile. All beams were exposed sympathetically throughout and a reconfiguration of the upstairs space created 2 bedrooms, one with walk-in wardrobe, family bathroom with bath and shower and a plant room.

The ground floor consisting of hallway, kitchen and living space were fully modernised and new patio doors were installed through to the new landscaped courtyard. 

The old external pebbledash finish was stripped to allow for the application of a new modern breathable render and the recreation of the corner coins.
